VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
In case of emergency, please call 911.
Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, Round Mountain is home to just under 200 people. The Round Mountain Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1983 to serve the community through emergency response. Today we have almost 20 volunteers that choose to spend their time training, preparing and mitigating emergency situations. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and bring many different sets of experience and knowledge to the table. Some are retired, some carry the mail, some work in a hospital, some are career firefighters. All offer a willingness to show up when the community needs help.
In the coming years Round Mountain is expected to have a significant increase in population as many new homes are built in the area. With that comes a need for additional volunteers so that we can continue to meet the needs of the community. Come join the family!
